The first day of spring was marked by the main event in the food and packaging industry the International Forum of Food Industry and Packaging IFFIP 2017. In the exhibition center KyivExpoPlaza on the area of 7000 sq.m nearly 200 companies from Ukraine, Italy, Turqey, Poland, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Belgium, Great Britain and India are presented. The traditional parts of the forum are the exhibitions: Bakery and Confectionery Industry, Pack Fair, FoodTechMash, Food Expo. The forum will provide a rich business program.

The chairman of the company “Kyiv International Contract Fair” Volodymyr Ivanov, who noted the success of the forum and the industry as a whole: "The forum's area this year increased by represented exhibitions by 7-10%. This is very important for these industries. This suggests that the market exists, it is developing and there is a positive dynamic."

President of the Packers Club Kryvoshei Valerii Mykolaiovych shared his opinion on the development of the packaging industry: "Last year was the year of development of the packaging industry, including packaging materials, printing products and packaging itself. Of course, there are problems in the industry, about which we will talk at the events of the Packers Club in the framework of the forum. I think that these 3 days of IFFIP will be successful and will end with new contracts and success."

Vice-President of the All-Ukrainian Bakers Association Alexander Taranenko spoke about the importance of the IFFIP forum for the industry: "The International Forum of Food Industry and Packaging IFFIP is of great importance for business development and is becoming a good tradition. Now, such events are very important, because here you can explore new opportunities, assortment, packaging, evaluate the supply of your products and, thus, survive in this difficult time. Within the framework of the exhibition there are also many business events on the bakery and confectionery industry".
