The main event of food and packaging industries of Ukraine – International Forum of Food Industry and Packaging IFFIP 2018 will take place on April 18-20 in Kyiv at a new venue – in the International Exhibition Centre.

This year around 200 participants from Belarus, Belgium, China, the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovenia, Turkey and Ukraine will be represented at a new fairground.

IFFIP 2018 unites 4 independent exhibitions of related industries: “Bakery and confectionary industries”, “Pack Fair”, “FoodTechMash” and “Food Expo”. It allows visitors – specialists of food processing and packaging industries – to develop a comprehensive approach in order to solve tasks of their enterprises.

Nowadays exhibition is not limited to a mere participation of a company in the exposition, but it is also the introduction of your opportunities by means of unusual presentation: extraordinary booth, activities at the company’s exposition and participation in the business program.

This year’s exhibition will be particularly “special” for specialists of Ukrainian confectionary industry.

For the first time the organizers together with French culinary school DGF International Culinary Concept has arranged the Festival of Haute Confectionery Art in Ukraine.  

From the 18^th to the 20^th of April at the special zone of workshops there will be held a number of presentations and workshops by:

• Trendsetter in confectionary arts – Christophe Michalak (France) – one of the best confectioners in the world, Champion in confectionary arts 2006, Author of the books dedicated to confectionary. For five years he hasn’t given any offsite workshops. But on April 20 Ukraine will meet the great master. Maestro will hold his workshop and will share recipes of “haute couture” desserts.
• World champion in confectionary arts Pastry Queen 2018 Anabelle Lucantonio (France), who will present a series of sophisticated restaurant desserts “desserts à l’assiette” – luxurious elements of dessert menu, which are essential for every prestigious restaurant of the world – within the Festival on April 19.
• Naserdin Mendi (France) – Honorary director of DGF International Culinary School, Brand-chef of DGF, the Best confectioner of France, Vice-president of the Confectionery art world cup, Honorary commissioner of International Confectionary Arts Competition will perform at the Festival on April 18.
• Ukrainian stars of confectionary arts, who have gained recognition not only in Ukraine, but also abroad, and will “create” and share secrets of their success during all three days of the Festival. Among them are: Kateryna Kryzhanivska, Volodymyr Pryshchepa, Oleksandr Brazhevskyi, Valentyn Shtefanio, Mariia Shramko, Ihor Zarytskyi, Gi Berzheman, Yelyzaveta Hlynska, Denys Komarenko, Valerii Sozanovskyi, Alla Bilousova, Liudmyla Kazmerchuk, Volodymyr Yadlovskyi.
• On April 19 the First All-Ukrainian Conference of Confectioners with participation of Kyrylo Smiian, Liudmyla Kazmerchuk, Tetiana Verbytska, Dmytro Zelenskyi, Elina Boiko, Iryna Makhinko, Yuliia Avrora-Ohorodnyk, Vadym Keller, Maryna Ivanchenko will be held.
• Round table: “The entrance of Ukrainian bakers to the international market: perspective territories, peculiarities of cooperation”. Awarding of the participants of the Bread & Bakery and Confectionery Contest “The Best Bakery Product 2018” and “The Best Packaging Design 2018” (April 19). Organizer: Ukrainian bakers’ association.
