International Forum of Food Industry and Packaging IFFIP 2016, the main event of food, processing and packaging industry, was held from the 12th to 14th of April in the KyivExpoPlaza exhibition center. For many years, the IFFIP forum is the most significant event for key operators of the market.
Development and implementation of modern technologies in production of food, packaging, equipment and ingredients are the important components of the food processing industry. Kyiv International Contract Fair, the organizer of the IFFIP forum and the leader of the exhibition business in Ukraine, promotes formation and development of the food, processing and packaging industry enterprises. It also fosters promotion of their products to the market of Ukraine.
The forum IFFIP 2016 fully reflects the real situation in the industry and indicates the vector of Ukraine’s food industry development in the near future. The exposition of the forum exhibitions – Food Expo, Pack Fair, FoodTechMash, Bakery and Confectionery Industry – presented the entire production cycle from raw material processing to the final packaged product. This year, almost all directions and thematic sections demonstrated positive dynamics.
In the new exhibition season the exhibitions of the forum not only kept their potential accumulated in the past years, but exceeded it significantly. It should be noted that the quantitative performances of the forum IFFIP increased by 30%. The forum area amounted to more than 6,500 sq.m. About 200 companies from Ukraine and 4 countries, namely Germany, Turkey, France and the Netherlands, participated in it. The forum was attended by over 8,000 specialists.
The segment of technologies and equipment for baking and confectionery production showed a significant growth. Interest towards these products demonstrated good prospects of this direction at the market as a whole, as well as at the exhibition in particular. Uniting equipment manufacturers and products processors at the same platform, the forum exhibitions thereby foster acceleration of innovations implementation in enterprises, thus further contributing to manufacturing quality products using quality equipment.
Annually the forum brings together the industry leaders and guarantees the possibility of finding new solutions and opportunities, suppliers and customers, because under one roof all kinds of companies are gathered, ranging from manufacturers of equipment for raw materials processing, its packaging to manufacturers of finished products. This year, such leading companies as Pack Trade, KUMKAYA, GRANS Makina, Bakito, Impexmash, RPS Ltd, OMAG, Inta, Upakovochnye Tekhnologii, Lux-X, Sistema Ltd, Aronis Coding-Systems, Etisoft, Intermash, Plast-Box, Manuli, Camozzi, Festo, Bongard, New Project, Kontakt and many others participated in the exhibitions.
